Child hood..halcyon days of my life..
In match days,I was running like a bat out of hell..
From school to streets,from streets to home..
When raised your hand and bat to the sky..
Oh my Lord,I was getting goosebumps on my body..

There was a time,I used to play the games,
As if i was in Lords like you bat..
I deeply loved  my Old wooden bat like anything..
Because it was  always shown your pic on it..
When you smile at bowlers,I was on cloud nine..

Now,those days are gone..but magic memories on the wall..
Oh God,Even the that gold memories gives me the chill.!!
The wars led by you will never be forgotten..
In Lords,Perth,Sydney,Chennai,Melbourne,sharjah and so on..
Those memories really a pilgrimage to the past..

For the pulls that dashes bowler's hope..
For the sweeps that instigating even lawn of  the field..
For the breathtaking upper cuts that cheers the hearts..
For the straight drives that depicts the beauty of an artist..
I am trying to search for the words to say thank you..but i can't..

God,You were carrying the hopes of this nation for the last 25 years,
The nation which is crippled with poverty,corruption and dirty politics..
You were incarnated like a lodestar for us,that was the winter of '89..
When you starts your magic with holly willow,mom was cradling me..!!
You are a brother,friend,role model,teacher and master to me..

I Love the way you bat,bowl,run,smile,live at the most..
You taught me to fight,chase dreams,live and celebrate..
You blazed a model as a son,brother,friend and as a real man..
The pain is excruciating,its like never before in my life..

They said,cricket is a beautiful game indeed!!..but the beauty has gone..

I m thinking about what to write here first.... ya..now i get it..yes.. today Sachin complete 20 years in international cricket.Twenty years!! ... I m a die hard fan of Sachin..his bating give me pleasure and relax...what a legend he is...when he was playing the first ball in international cricket, my mom was cradling me..!!!! today he celebrates his twenty years in international cricket..as fan i pray for him..sachin i expect more from u!!!
